Meet Our Staff:

Lionel B. Baker: Owner and Instructor
Lionel is the founder and a co-owner of Allegany Driving School and manages school operations in Allegany and Washington Counties. He graduated from Frostburg University with a B.S. in Teacher Education.  He has taught in the MD Public School System for many years.  Lionel currently lives in Allegany County with his wife, Stacey, and daughters, Taylor and Carlin.

Jim and Kay Fraser: Owners and Instructors
Lifelong residents of Middletown Valley, Jim and Kay operate in Frederick and Washington counties and are in their 15th and 10th year of teaching driver education, respectively.  They enjoy working with young adults to help them develop the important life skill of safely operating a vehicle. Jim and Kay strive to "meet students where they're at and see them successfully through the program."  Prior to starting their careers in driver ed, Jim served in the U.S. military in army aviation for 11 years and Kay was Associate Dean of the graduate school at Hood College. 

James Brown (J.B.): General Manager and Instructor
J.B. is a native of Frederick County with over 12 years experience as an instructor in driver education and social studies. He is responsible for operations at Mount Saint Mary's and has recently expanded into Carroll County.  J.B. can be reached directly at 301-788-4477.
