We Are Driver Education

Allegany Driving School has provided quality driver safety programs across the State of Maryland since 1997. The school was originally founded in Cumberland Maryland and has evolved into a multi-county operation responsible for training nearly 4000 new drivers each year with more than 40 licensed, professional instructors. 

Allegany Driving School is licensed by the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration to provide Driver Education, Point System Conferences, Driver Improvement. We offer a variety of services for students with special needs including training with vehicle hand controls and left foot accelerator, courses for those experiencing age related concerns and many other services to meet your needs.   Students may enroll over the phone by calling one of our branch locations.

                                                                                                                          
With many locations statewide, Allegany Driving School is one of the most respected schools in the industry. All instructors are licensed by the MVA and include many who are teachers or former law enforcement personnel.  All our vehicles are equipped with dual brakes and mirrors and are regularly maintained and fully inspected.  We feel that better teachers develop better drivers.  All instructors of Allegany Driving School are required to seek regular professional development courses in addition to regular background checks for both new and current instructors.  Please call us with any concerns or questions regarding our school or driving related issues.  Our friendly staff will be glad to assist you.  Our hours are Monday thru Friday 9am - 5pm.   This means our qualified personnel is available to answer your questions and concerns instead of an answering machine.
