Driver Improvement Program / Point System Conference FAQ

ONLINE DIP AND PSC COURSES CLICK HERE

How do I complete the Point System Conference or Driver Improvement Program?

You may enroll by calling one of our branch locations.  The course is held Saturdays from 9am - 11am for PSC Class and 9am - 1pm for DIP Class.

I am confused as to which program (PSC or DIP) I should take. Where can I find this information?

Typically, a person receives a referral letter from the MVA. In this letter, it states which program the person must attend. If the individual is still confused, her or she can contact the MVA to find the correct program.

What happens if I do not take the Point System Conference (PSC) by my PSC due date?

If a person does not take the PSC by its corresponding due date, he or she will have to take the Driver Improvement Program (DIP). This program is longer and more expensive than the PSC.

What happens if I do not take the Driver Improvement Program (DIP) by my DIP due date?

If a person does not take the DIP by its corresponding due date, he or she will have his or her license suspended.

What do I need to bring to class?

You must bring:
Your Payment (No Checks!)
Photo ID
Pen & Paper
Your MVA Referral Letter

I do not have my MVA referral letter. Can I still complete the PSC & DIP classes?

Yes.  You still can complete the classes without the referral letter. However, it is required you fill out a waiver so that you assume responsibility for completing the correct class. Please have your driver’s license number with you since it is needed to complete the waiver.

Does taking the classes remove points from my driving record?

No.  In the state of Maryland, points will remain on your record 2 years from the date of your violation.

My license is suspended and I just completed the DIP. When will my suspension be lifted?

We notify the MVA within 24 hours of your completion via electronic submission. It is up to them lift your

suspension.
